About NVN CRANE REPAIRS cc

NVN was established and registered on 1 November 1993 with a sole member in the CC. The primary purpose being that of serving the mobile crane industry. As demand grew, NVN expanded and in April 1994, a further two members joined the CC, thus totaling three full time member.The founding member has however parted from the company.
Here is an overview on each of members that work at NVN Crane Repairs cc.

Jannie Van Niekerk

Jannie, was employed by a large mobile crane franchise company, for 22 years during which he gained vast experience in the mobile crane industry.
His duties includes field service work country wide on a wide range of mobile equipment, which includes majour rebuilding on cranes and excavators of all makes and sizes.
He was a workshop forman where his duties included supervision of workshop personnel in the plant, rebuilding and pre-delivery services of the full range of mobile crane equipment. During this period he attended extensive training courses in the crane factories in the USA, Germany and Japan.
He also was workshop manager/ service manager. His duties in the position, was management training and supervision of workshop staff in the delivery and testing of new and used equipment. Management of maintenance and service in the field of a wide range of lifting equipment, locations varying from the entire Republic of South Africa, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Angola. Extensive involvement in budgetary
control, workshop costing, plant appraisal, repair, evaluation inspection, for the resale and refreshment market.

Anton Van Niekerk

Anton, was employed by a large mobile crane franchise company, for 17 years during which he gained vast experience in the mobile crane industry.
His experience ranges from workshop mechanic, field service mechanic, workshop forman in charge of the re-building of cranes and faultfinding on cranes. Anton also served as a product support engineer in the management of the company for which he worked and was specifically in control of maintenance and service in the field of a complete range of mobile cranes and equipment. He worked all over the Republic of South Africa, in Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
During the aforementioned 17 years, Anton also completed numerous factory-training courses.

Hennie Van Niekerk

Hennie, was employed by a large mobile company for 15 years during which he gained vast experience in the mobile crane industry.
His experience ranges from workshop mechanic and field service mechanic, servicing and repairing mobile cranes, countrywide.

In our employment is further, four fully trained artisans who received their training at a large mobile crane franchise company adding a further 59 years (combined) accumulated experience in the crane industry.
We have also contacted the services of Mr.Bob Langford, a fully qualified auto electrician, with extensive specialising in the Crane Industry.

In 2001 we amalgamated with Cranes Africa, a registered Import / Export company which import / export quality used and new equipment as well as a full range of new spare parts for: Tadano, Kato, Kobelco, P & H, Linkbelt, Grove, Galion, Coles, Terex, Demag, Daun, Lima etc.
