The distinction of a purpoose made Amoretti Designs door or window is an investment in elegance and quality.Vincent Amoretti comes from four generations of Italian joiners and was born and raised under the wing of the joinery trade at a time when good quality workmanship was the ultimate criteria by which wooden doors and windows were judged. Over the past seven years Amoretti Designs has grown from a backyard mini factory which employed 4 people to operating on a premises of approximately 4000 square metres and employing 75 people. All members of staff have been trained by Vincent Amoretti, in order to pass on the level of excellence and expertise taught to him by his father and grandfather. In the throwaway world of the 90's Amoretti Designs creates doors and windows of lasting quality, according to the needs and desires of the customer. Decorating a house, should begin with the front door. The right door is not necessarily the one which catches the eye,, but rather one which blends with the architectural style of the house and lifestyyle of the owners. This initial impression of style can be carried throughout the house, by matching up the lines and proportions of the front door in all interior doors. It is often extremely difficult to purchase a door that is of a different size or shape to standard doors available in most retailer outlets. Amoretti Designs specialises in purpose made doors and windows and in fact encourages customers to provide their own design ideas. Amoretti Designs doors are skillfully handcrafted from carefully selected kiln dried timber. While most wooden windows and doors in South Africa are manufactured in meranti, Amoretti Designs is more than happy to manufacture goods in, and offer good advice on the suitability of other timbers such as oak, kiaat, merbau, cherrywoood, beech, maple and ash.
