SCAN (Scientific Content Analysis)
SCAN Techniques are new in South Africa. We are two of about 30 non government analysists in South Africa, who have completed the training of the SCAN Techniques, as taught by the Laboratory for Scientific Interrogation of Phoenix, Arizona. The SCAN Techniques are used to analyse Statements/Transcripts/Questionaires, to obtain uncontaminated information and to reach an accurate decision concerning the reliability and truthfulness of the information. The Questionaire can be adapted to suit any event. We eliminate the truthful suspects out of a group of suspects and we isolate the suspects.
PSE 2000 (Psychological Stress Evaluator)
The apparatus detects deception by analysing the microtremor change in the voice caused by neurological stress. We analyse recorded Telephonic or live interviews, Statements and Interrogations. This method gives absolute measures and is a valid lie detection method, one that is most used world wide.
